There are always a lot of heated arguments for things like pro-choice/pro-life or equal marriage/one-man-one-woman marriage and various other topics that elude me.
Yes I would have to say that on a few of these issues I may be the “losing side” but being an understanding human being, everyone is subject to their own choices and opinions and I am not the one to judge.
But for those that do judge, (mainly on the Christian side which I do identify with), many say that these view points are against God’s will. But even so, God gave every human being free will. He has never randomly said, “Well you aggravated me enough, I’m taking away your choices.” He has always left it as your choice to choose what path YOU want to take regardless if it would please Him or not.
So why as a human, would you take away the freedoms of another human when even God Himself wouldn’t do that? Are you saying that you are greater than God? Knowing the history and love that God has for all His children, though the path may not please Him, He will love His children regardless. He loves us enough to give us choices. Though you may not agree with the path that someone else is taking with their life, you have no right to take their options from them.
No, you do not have to say that everything that person does is correct to your moral standards. But at the same time you have your flaws and your choices that you have made. No one took those options from you. Don’t take away someone else’s options just because of your religious/moral beliefs. Let God be the ultimate judge to that.
